He is survived by: his wife Heather Nye of Bourbon; his children, Adrianna Protte of Bourbon, Ariella Slankard (Jorden Backes) of Bourbon, Logan Slankard of Bourbon, Jeffrey Slankard (Yzabella Armstrong) of Bourbon and Alexis Bacon (Heath) of Bourbon; his sister Rebecca Evans of Sullivan; and his grandchildren, Damon, Gage, Eric, Casey, Malachi, Jaxson, Cooper and Octavia.
