She was predeceased by: her parents, Lige A. Melton and Hassie N. Melton (Brantley); her husband Jesse Barber; her stepmother Velva Melton; her daughter Shirley McClary; and her siblings, Wayne Melton, Mary Davenport and Martha Kidwell.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Barber of Sullivan, MO. and Ken Barber (Joan) of Sullivan, MO.; her grandson Bryce Barber of Union, MO.; and her brothers, Robert Melton of Forrest City and Rayburn Melton of Forrest City. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
