He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Saltzman (Bookhout); his sons, Christopher Jon and Christian Jay; his parents, Melvin Saltzman and Ruth Saltzman (Wolf); and his siblings, Shirley Moore, Kathleen Keen and Robert Saltzman.
He is survived by: his children, Alisa Scantlan (Steve) of Sullivan, Mary Hopkins (Roger) of Arnold, MO, David Saltzman of Sullivan, Valerie Lore (Hank) of Bourbon and Melinda Lahmann (Brandon) of Bourbon; his grandchildren, Daniel Scantlan, Brooke Strube (Jim), Brittany Schatz (Brad), George David Saltzman III (Andrea), Christopher Saltzman (Rachel), Nicholas Saltzman, Alexandria Lore (Justin Kutay), Savannah Lore (Michael Wyatt), Brianna Lore (Drew Thurmond) and Elleanor (Maddeline Lahmann); and his sisters, Glenna Manes of Lebanon, MO and Joan Patton of Crocker, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in Buck's name.
