He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene W. Hofstetter and Alma Hofstetter (Walker); his sister Gloria Schatz; his parents-in-law, Delmer Vaughn and Beulah Gregory; and his brother-in-law Leonard Schatz.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Hofstetter of Sullivan; his children, Angela Bloomner (Darrel Bloomner, Jr.) of Sullivan and Rick Hofstetter (Jeanette Hofstetter); his grandchildren, Devin (Cassie Keethler), Robert Hofstetter (Brianna Hanneken), Veronica Bloomner, Miranda Hofstetter and Kearstin Hofstetter; his great grandchildren, Makenna and Ezra; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Missey (Delores) of Union, MO and Machell Beard (Larry) of Sullivan, MO. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
