It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy A. Gauzy of Sullivan, Missouri, born in Owensville, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jerome Gauzy (Jerry); and her parents, Esco Thenhaus and Nora Thenhaus (Tayloe). She is survived by: her daughters, Dorothy, Kathy Foshage (Matt) of Fenton, MO, Margie Kase (Jim) of Sullivan, Laura Schromm (Brian) of Ballwin, MO and Karen Juergens (Richard) of Sullivan; her grandchildren, Ryan Foshage, Kelsey Foshage, Kimberly Kase, Craig Kase, Eric Kase (Michelle), Sarah Schromm, Aaron Schromm, Samantha Sheldon and Kayla Riddle; her great grandchildren, Logan Kase, Carter, Conor and Charlie Sheldon; and her sister-in-law Wanda Gauzy of Gerald, MO. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, beloved cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's memory to St. Anthony's Catholic School or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
