It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James T. Rittel Sr. (Sugar Creek, Missouri), born in Independence, Missouri, who passed away on September 13, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Charles and Laura Ellen Rittel (Woods). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Bean; his children, Jean Golden (Jim), Jim Rittel, Jr. (Patty), Kathy Calvert, Patrick Rittel (Charlene), Mary Jodts (Vic) and Laura Rittel; and his brother John H. Rittel (Jack). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Mary's Boy Scout Troop #221.
