He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Riggs and Bessie Riggs (Riley); his wife Betty Lou Ebert; his son William Riggs; his grandchildren, Dawn, Brice, Brittany and Kyle; and his siblings, Jim Riggs, Louise Goulsby and Gloria Lee Nowlin.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Riggs, Jr. of Huntsville, Ronald Riggs of Columbia, Robert Riggs (Signe) of Imperial, Faye Friedrich of Sturgeon, Jodi Smith (Jerry) of Fremont, NE, Deana Johannsen (Gerry) of Sturgeon and John Riggs of Hallsville; and his siblings, Carolyn Kasprisky (Kurt) of Alma, AR, Martha Hedrick of Omaha and Ron Riggs (Nancy) of Phoenix. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
