He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hayes and Bernice "Shinar" Hayes; and his brother Rick (Rebecca Hayes). He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Hayes, Greg Hayes and Peter Hayes; his siblings, Bob Hayes, Kevin Hayes, Maureen Abele, Bonnie Heineman, Joann Hayes and Patti Hofer; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Hayley and Alexis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
