He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Emerson and Mamie Emerson (Plummer); his daughter Lisa Carr; his sister Winnie; and his brother-in-law Eugene Warden.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley June; and his children, Mike Emerson, Scott Emerson and Sue Mitts. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, his church family, many friends and family.
