She was predeceased by: her father Maurice Popejoy; her husband Charles "Bud" Reese; and her half-sister Marilyn Winfrey. She is survived by: her stepfather Clarence Winfrey; her daughters, Debra King (Robert) of Kirksville and Cheryl Urso (Michael) of Madison, Wisconsin; her sister Ethel Morland; her half-sister Vada Taylor (Mitchell); her grandchildren, Brittany Ballweg (Kyle), Meghan Martin (Tyler) and Cody King (Andriel); and her great grandchildren, Brenley, Blakely Ballweg, Reese and Lennon Martin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 and public safety, the family made the difficult decision to have a private service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the "I Think I Can Foundation" in Kirksville.
