It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Lou Cruse of Strafford, Missouri, born in Paducah, Kentucky, who passed away on November 2, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jefferson Coley and Erma Coley (Southwick); and her sister Tina. She is survived by: her husband Eddie Cruse; her children, Tammy Choate (Randy), Tommy Tate (Vicky), David Smith and Stephanie Smith; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Choate (Alison), Jeremy Choate, Kyle Tate, Jordan Choate (Matti), Kelsey Tate, Brodie Ely, Lucas Ely and Lillian Ely; and her great grandchildren, Zenna Choate and Everett Choate.

In lieu of flowers, we felt it appropriate to take donations for the Springfield Humane Society to honor her love of fur babies.
