He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Jefferson and Adra Naomi Mills Simms; and his siblings, Carolyn Underwood and Richard Simms. He is survived by: his wife Donna O'Neill; his sisters, Shirley Perry of Kansas City and Theresa Mitchell (Charlie) of Liberty; and his children, Kimberly Stark of Butler, Timmy Simms of Adrian, Lisa Barnes (Henry) of Stover, Dana Moore of Warrensburg, Kerrie Simms of Warrensburg, Jason Simms (Stacy) of Stover, Ryan O'Neill (Jennifer) of Raymore and Michele Goodson of Grain Valley. He is also survived by twenty six grandchildren; a slew of great grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.
Out of respect for the family, they are requesting masks and for social distancing to be observed.
