He is survived by: his wife Debbie Nevares; his children, Ruben Rubio III of Sedalia, Rico Soto of Kansas City, MO, Robert Nevares (Barbara) of Texas, Jason Nevares (Ann-Marie) of Texas, Edward Soto, Jr. of Texas, Valerie Soto of Stover, Crystal Pedroza (Joe) of Texas, Sandra Rubio of Texas and Sulema Rubio of Texas; his granddaughter Elah Soto; and his siblings, Richard Rubio (Maria) of Texas, Rudy Rubio (Maria) of Ohio, Becky Branderhorst (Mike) of Eldon, MO and Diana Sanchez of Texas.
