He was predeceased by: his father James B. Hyer; and his brother Donnie Cook. He is survived by: his mother Louise Hyer Harris (Jerry); his children, Brandon Johnson (Jessica), Mason Johnson, Misti Toeler, Melinda Davidson and Mary Bilachi; his brother James Hyer; and his stepsiblings, Jeremy Harris (Kendra) and Bonnie Bedwell (Leroy). He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; two nieces and four nephews; along with numerous friends and family.
