He is survived by: his son Mervin Henry; his grandchild Chinese; his children, Connie (Dean Eckhoff), Jerry (Cathy Holsten) and Cindy (Eddie Kiesling); his daughter-in-law Yvonne Holsten of Lone Jack; his grandchildren, Yolanda Fisher (Darrick), Joseph Holsten (Stephanie), Schuyler Holsten, Alex Holsten (Julie), Caleb Eckhoff (Joanna), Codi Eckhoff and Chase Kiesling; his great grandchildren, Rhett, Wade, Dane Fisher, Abby, Emily Holsten, Gage and Brenton Eckhoff; his siblings, Willard Holsten (Linda) of Sedalia and Vanita Rapp of Rockville; and his sister-in-law Elsie Harms of Cole Camp. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
