She was predeceased by: her former spouse Clayson Phelps; her husband Clay; her children, Gary Dills, Robert Phelps, Richard Phelps and Sandy Phelps; and her siblings, Vernon Steinmeyer, Marlin Steinmeyer, Berniece Hoppen and Norma Steinmeyer.

She is survived by: her former husband Cecil Dills; her children, Karin, Frank Weaver of Stover, Jay, Karen Dills of Kansas City, Alecia and Kenneth Sanders of Arlington, Tennessee; her daughter-in-law Linda Dills of Stover; her brother Kenneth; her sister-in-law Betty Steinmeyer of Stover; and her sister Joyce Acton of Gladstone. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and many great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran School or Stover Cemetery.
