He was predeceased by: his parents, George Melton and Wilma Marriott Wilson; his son Scott Wilson; his stepdaughter Shelly Avey; and his siblings, Harold Wilson and Betty Walker.
He is survived by: his spouses, Karen Fischer and Rosemary Bogenrief; his children, James Wilson (Jeff Wilson), Melanie (Mark Sherman), Monica (Johnny Dake) and Melissa (Rusty Brown); his grandchildren, Jamie Brown (Robbie), Jessica Houk (Carl), Tyler Wilson (Britney), Kristin Wilson, Corben Wilson, Madisen Sherman, Whitney Dake and Makayla Brown; his stepgrandchildren, Heather Steward (Daniel) and Josh Avey; and his great grandchildren, Resee, Raeleigh, Raustin Brown, James Henry Houk, McKinley, Kinzer and Jainee Wilson. He is also survived by three step great grandchildren, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
