She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Olen Deller and Anna Bell Deller (Dotson); her husband Harold Earl Sumstine; her son William Wayne Sumstine; and her grandson John Paul Van Goethem.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl A. Van Goethem (David) of Stillwell, Harold E. Sumstine (Patty) of Overland Park, Arthur L. Sumstine (Jeanne) of Olathe and Kevin D. Sumstine (Cindy) of San Clemente, CA..
