He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Heimsoth and Pat Heimsoth (Meyer); and his father-in-law Michael Derkits. He is survived by: his wife Karla Heimsoth; his pet Maggie; his siblings, Gayle Hayden (John) of Versailles and Kurtis Heimsoth (Beth) of Cole Camp; his mother-in-law Sharon Derkits of Raytown; his siblings-in-law, Michael Derkits (Jen) of St. Louis and Teresa Gomez of Independence; his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Presley, Brecken, Christian and Zachary (Aly); and his great-nephews, Chase and Owen.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Lutheran School Association in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
