He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Dylan Rex and Brittany Rex; and his siblings, William, Roy Rex and Sara LaVern.
He is survived by: his son George Franklin; his wife Elaine Lorenz of Stover; his children, Wayne Rex (CharLa) of Tipton and Kathy Rex of Stover; his grandchildren, Travis Burke (Kara), Lacy Wehmeyer (Thatcher), Amanda Shewmaker (Josh) and Brandon Rex (Maranda); his great grandchildren, Ryker Rex, Brynlee Burke, Chase Tuning, Karch Knipp, Jett Knipp, Bella Knipp, Madi Shewmaker, Aiden Rex and Everett Rex; his brothers, Dwayne Rex (Karen) of Lee's Summit and Lynn Rex (Beverly) of California; his sister-in-law Joyce Rex of Boonville; and his daughter Becky Mueller (Clint Birdsong).
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Cemetery.
