He was predeceased by: his sister Doris Schad (Bill); and his brother-in-law Wilmont Behnke. He is survived by: his son Eldrid George; his wife Katheryn Proehl of Stover; his sons, Darren Beckmann (Anna) of Stover, Scott Beckmann of Stover and Brian Beckmann (Emilia) of Jefferson City; his siblings, Harold Beckmann and Ilene Behnke of Kansas City, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Austin Beckmann, Taylor Fowler, Jessica Noble, Kara Beckmann and Jonathon Beckmann.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Paul Lutheran School.
