She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Rickard and Willie Bell Dowell Rickard; her husband Joseph "Joe" M. Walkup; her children, John Walkup (Sonja) of Stoutsville, MO, James Walkup (Denise) of Pella, IA and Carol Walkup Griffin (Mike) of Hannibal, MO; her grandchildren, Lacy Cahalin, Lee Walkup, Michael Walkup, Tina Walkup, Lynda Mitchell, Terry Moses, Jordan Walkup, Harleigh Walkup and Emma Walkup; her great grandchildren, Lily, Josh, Craig, Marina, Brooke, Damian, Ashlyn, Terryn and Kolton; and her son Joseph Lee.
Memorials can be made to the Stoutsville Baptist Church or the Alzheimer's Association.
