With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert James of Stoutsville, Missouri, born in Paris, Missouri, who passed away on June 6, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul James and Virginia Burton James; his siblings, Pauline Ball, Kenneth James and Charles James; and his siblings-in-law, Glen Campbell and Helen James.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Rose; his children, Randy James of Palm Beach, CA, Kim James (Carol) of Monroe City, MO and Robin Simpson of Monroe City, MO; his siblings, Caroline Campbell of Hannibal, MO, Beth Tilt (Max) of Perry, MO and Larry James of Paris, MO; his grandchildren, Amanda Spalding (Shane) of Monroe City, MO, Dane Foster and Zach James (Kari); his great grandchildren, Emily, Michael Spalding, Ryliee James, Nash, Nile Foster, Debbie Hays, Jessie Wamsley and Josey Kendrick; and his stepchildren, Brian Warner (Carol, family: Drew, Kara Kellar, Ember Kellar, Rylee Kellar) of Houston, AK, Rebecca Mrzlak (family: Jay, Alexander Mrzlak) of Hillsboro, OR and Jennifer MacKenzie (Derek) of Edmonton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
