He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lester and Mattie Grace Luck Moutray; and his brothers, Ralph Moutray, Joe Moutray and Bill Moutray.

He is survived by: his son Casey Moutray of Sturgen; his granddaughters, Melissa Moutray and Jessica Moutray; and his sisters, Lilian Moutray, Marie Kropp, Josephine Peterson, Georgia Denton, Ava Lee Robinson, Mattie Tracy and Leliah Curless. He is also survived by grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
