He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Roscoe and Goldie Grace Hutsler Scott. He is survived by: his children, Doug Scott (Sandy) of Stoutland, MO, Jeff Scott (Lisa) of Richland, MO and Brenda Trandum (Don) of Montreal, MO; his daughter-in-law Carrie Scott; his sister Hazel Morrow of Iberia, MO; his grandchildren, Donnie Trandum (Laurie), Levi Trandum (Sarah), Joey Scott (Krystal), Ashley Painter (Andrew), Brittany Potthoff, Becky Groebl (Jim), Ben Scott (Jasmine) and Cassie Krampe (Eric); his great grandchildren, Taylor, Kaya, Alexis, Tristan, Meseret, Melaku, Steven, Eli Borlase, Kendra, Jacob, Hannah, Joshua Trandum, Adreanna, Seth, Grant, Carl Trandum, Amelia, Ruby, Henry Groebl, Olivia, Della, Deacon Scott, Lucas, Liam Scott, Owen, Oliver Potthoff, Halle Krampe and Aceyn Painter; his siblings-in-law, Bobbie Brown of Stoutland, MO, Bob Lane of Springfield, MO and Jimmy Brown (Dixie) of Springfield, MO; his wife Mollie; his sister Veda DeGraffenreid; his son Terry Don Scott; and his granddaughters, Tanya Borlase (Jeff) and Madeline Trandum. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
