With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Lee Balmas of Stotts City, Missouri, born in Monett, Missouri, who passed away on April 7, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Balmas and Frances Balmas (Diotte); his brother Jerry Balmas; and his grandson Dylan Lee Mark. He is survived by: his wife Janell Balmas; his children, Scott Mark of Springfield and Jennifer Sickinger (Joe Livingston) of Springfield; his stepdaughters, Stacy Larson of Stotts City and Daphne Brown (Jared) of Oronogo; his brother Russ Balmas (Richard Heller) of Monett; his grandchildren, Oscar, Ethan Sickinger of Springfield, Steven of Oronogo, David Brown of Oronogo and Jacoby Taylor of Oronogo; and his nephews, Derrick Balmas of Webb City, Dustin Balmas of Toledo, IA and Jake Balmas of Columbia. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In memory of Rick, memorial contributions have been suggested to the Waldensian Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
