He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Burns and Jewel Burns (Morlan); and his sister Wilma. He is survived by: his former wife Connie Hamilton; his sons, Kenneth and Tim; his wife Angela Giroux; and his siblings, Norma Jean Essex, Ruth Simmons, Lucile Bowen, Larry and Loyd. He is also survived by numerous nieces nephews and cousins.
