With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Lee Hightower of Stockton, Missouri, born in Niangua, Missouri, who passed away on April 18, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hightower and Geneva Hightower (Allen); his wife Rose Ann; his son Mark Steven Hightower; and his sisters, Jeanne Layman and Jeanette Newton.

He is survived by: his children, Carole Wilkerson (Mark) of Stockton, Missouri, Danny Hightower (Sherry Caudle Hightower Conway) of Stockton and Dean Hightower (Janna) of Niangua; and his daughter-in-law Trish Hightower of Marshfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

“My dear friend Jerry… when ever I visited Stockton. One of the first things I would do is visit Rosey and Jerry. My father lived in Stockton and Jerry was a avid crappie fisherman and would bring crappies over to my fathers home. Rosey passed and later Jerry had lung cancer. He never let on he was sick. Those were two of the finest people I’ve ever met. RIP MY FRIENDS FROM STOCKTON.”
