She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Olin and Laura Maud Rosenbaum (Martin); her husband Herman Thornton; her siblings, Louis, James, Delbert, Ernest, Walter Rosenbaum and Ethel "June" Rosenbaum Garver; and her daughter-in-law Kathy Brumback Thornton.
She is survived by: her son Randall (Cynthia) of Stockton; her grandchildren, Brent Thornton (Tiffani Gish) of Springfield, Chad Thornton (Daniela) of Joplin and Kyle Thornton of Fort Worth, Texas.; her great grandchildren, Tabitha Thornton of Springfield and Isabella Thornton of Joplin; and her sister Arletta Jane Shea of Cedar Falls.
