He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Redger and Sophia Redger; and his brother Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Edna of Stockton; his daughter Rita Leavesley of New Port Richey, Florida.; his stepchildren, Rick Walker (Paula), Wanda Coley (Gary), Terry Walker (Jackie) and Kevin Walker (Loretta); and his siblings, Chuck Redger (Judy) of Gig Harbor and Naomi Base of Susanville, California.. He is also survived by five grandchildren and fifteen step grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
