She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman R. VanBuskirk and Ida Constance VanBuskirk (Boss); her husband Larry Thomas; her son Bret Thomas; and her siblings, Lyman Frank, Wilma Jean and John Richard (Dick).
She is survived by: her children, Andrew Thomas (Diann) of Monett, MO and Jennifer Carter (Roger) of Pleasant Hill; her daughter-in-law Kelly Thomas of Lee's Summit; her grandchildren, Rachel DeSimone (JJ), Lauren Bryant (BJ), Mitchell Thomsen (Olivia), Hanna Thomsen (Erik), Emily Doyle (Chris), Jessica Burchett (Truman), Katie Mahoney (Kalvin), Donovan Thomas and Avery Thomas; her stepgrandchildren, Eric Carter (Chelsea) and Kelly Woolf; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Moss, Emma Moss, Madeline Mahoney, Ryan Mahoney, Luca DeSimone, Reagan Bryant, Liam Bryant, Teddy Thomsen, Kimberly Baird and Max Brockhouse.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
