He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hammill and Regina Hammill (Schmidt); his former wife Ione Hammill (Hopp); his wife Alberta Hammill (Barnes); and his siblings, Keith Hammill, Ione Miller and Gladys Freeman.
He is survived by: his sisters, Helen Bybee of Stockton and Nadine Bishop of Tulsa, OK..
