He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clifford Hanes and Anna Hanes; his wife Wilma; his children, Louanna Burcham (Brent), Joshua Hanes (Nita) and Matthew Hanes (Jessica); his grandchildren, Austin, Ariel, Iyla Burcham, Hunter, Easton Hanes, Mason and Seneca Hanes; and his son David Hanes.
The military honors was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Macedonia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society in Steve's honor.
