It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Tabor Gillespie of Stella, Missouri, born in Las Animas, Colorado, who passed away on October 3, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gillespie and Elda Gillespie (Elliot); his children, Nova Dale Canterbury and Joe Gillespie; and his brother Robert Gillespie.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Gillespie; his children, Ric Gillespie (Fran), Bill Gillespie, Angela Frazier (Steven) and Lisa Whitesell (Brandon); his grandchildren, Mike, Kelly Joe, Lisa, Tommy, Cassie, Jessica, Amy, Misty, Marc, Tristan, Trenton, Samantha, Nate, Gwyneth and Laurel; and his sister Eileen Donnelly of Sacramento. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren.
