With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Gene Burns of Stella, Missouri, born in Sabetha, Kansas, who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Burns and Maggie Burns (Taylor); his siblings, Fred, Allen, Johnny, Paul and Shirley Crawford; and his nephew Richard Burns.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Nadine Brown of Stella; his stepchildren, Lisa Casper (Joe) of Cassville, Lee Brown of Goodman, Amy Brown of Exeter, Anthony Brown (Michelle) of Springfield and Crystal Deshazio (Steven) of Exeter; his siblings, Danny Burns of Neosho, Jerry Burns of Neosho, Alice Long of Blackwell, Peggy Hasting of Illinois and Joyce Kramer of Topeka, Kansas; and his niece Glenna Chandler of Illinois. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren.
