She was predeceased by: her parents, Minus Turnbough and Lottie Turnbough (Bays); her husband Sonny Cole; her siblings, Ken Turnbough (Helen), Jim Turnbough, Geneva Scott (Herk), Dolly Dudley (Joe) and Rowena Huitt (Granville); and her nephews, Cleo Scott and Gary Turnbough.
She is survived by: her children, Jan Rowe (Bob) of Wildwood, MO and Dave Cole (Debbie) of Labadie, MO; her grandchildren, David Rowe (Meghan), Ryan Cole (Nichole), Brad Rowe and Jamie Fitzgerald (Mark); her great grandchildren, Will, Avery Rowe, Grace, Jonah FitzGerald, Everett and Hudson Cole; her sister-in-law Opal Turnbough; and her nieces and nephews, Bruce Turnbough, Mike Turnbough, Jo Ann Jinkerson and Robbin Netemeyer. She is also survived by other relatives; and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home (110 Cedar St, Steelville, MO 65565). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at the Shoal Creek Cemetery.
