It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Gene Midyett of Steelville, Missouri, who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Leonard Midyett and Irma Mattie Kehner Midyett; his wife Kathryn Midyett; his siblings, Earl Midyett (Rosalee), Bill Midyett (Ella Mary), Harry Midyett, Lorraine Street and Louise Turnbough (Gilbert); and his brother-in-law Gail Biggs.
He is survived by: his children, Robert "Bob" Midyett (Karen) of Byrnes Mill, MO and Michele Kinney of Florissant, MO; his grandchildren, Christopher Midyett (Jenny) of Fenton, MO, Patrick Midyett (Katie) of Bennington, Kristin Kinney of Florissant, MO and Justin Kinney (Kristen) of Florissant, MO; his great grandchildren, Karlee Sutton (Stephen), Tyler Midyett, Anna Midyett, Emma, Cadence, Malachi and Kelton Kinney; his great great grandchild Raiden Sutton; and his sisters-in-law, Sue Biggs of Wildwood, MO and Shirley Brown of Eureka, MO. He is also survived by other relatives; and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Bob's names to the Alzheimers Association or the American Cancer Society in care of the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home, Steelville, MO.
