He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Leslie Stephens and Helen Stephens; his wife Joann Stephens; his parents-in-law, Frank and Filomay Bell; his brother Danny Stephens; and his brothers-in-law, Ron Bayer, Louie Veasey and Mike Blachly.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Stephens (Gina) of Aurora, CO and Marsha Stephens of St. Louis, MO; his sisters, Loretta Veasey of Bradley, IL and Barbara Bayer of Leander, TX; his grandson Anthony Stephens of Aurora, CO; and his sister-in-law Grace Blachly of Portage, IN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hutson Funeral Home (601 Main St, Steelville, MO 65565). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at the Steelville Cemetery (48 Church St, Steelville, MO 65565).
