He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lee Vaughn and Anna Elizabeth Hutson Vaughn; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Bonnie Driemeyer; and his brother-in-law Jerry Emerson.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Vaughn of Steelville, MO; his children, Paula Stice (Scott) of Steelville, MO, Laura Ruether (Keith) of Lebanon, MO, Jason Vaughn (Keli) of Bolivar, MO, Ellen Lauer (Craig) of Arnold, MO and Jared Vaughn (Ashley) of Bolivar, MO; his grandchildren, Katie Stice, Jessica Turnbough (Heath), Rachel Woodall (Joshua), Kara Copling (Kalem), Michael Ruether (Carly), Heather Lewis (Antwaun), Erica Vaughn, Joshua Vaughn, Nathanael, Isaiah, Naomi, Lydia, Gideon Lauer, Anna and Austin Vaughn; his great grandchildren, Elaina and Elissa Turnbough; his siblings, Dennis Vaughn (Robin) and Carolyn Emerson of St. Charles, MO; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Heying (Lynn). He is also survived by other relatives; and many friends.
