Homer Theodore Sellers Obituary

We bid farewell to Homer Theodore Sellers of Steelville, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 6, 2025 at the age of 99. Homer touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Denny Sellers (Effie) and Effie Sellers; his son Winford Cowell Sellers; his grandson-in-law Jimmy Woods; and his siblings, Jesse Sellers, Herman Sellers, Gladene Day (Homer), Nina Day (Roman), Willard Sellers, Daphyne Potter (Louis), Gladys Terry (Arley), Johnny Sellers, Wilma Abrams (Clint) and Clyde Sellers.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Sellers; his sons, DeWayne Sellers of Steelville, MO and Lindell Sellers (Anita) of Steelville, MO; and his grandchildren, Laurie Finch (Steve), Stefanie Kitcher (Kyle), Charla Woods (Mike), Denny "Scot" Sellers, Sarah Woods, Jody Sellers (Amber), Brian Sellers (Lisa), Gina Spurgeon (Ricky) and Austin Sumpter (Kelly). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives; and friends.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Maple Grove Cemetery.
