He is survived by: his parent Virginia D. Stewart Benton; his children, Douglas Benton (Leasburg), Tobey Benton (Cindy) of Cattaswissa, Gayle Rice (Bill) of South Dakota, Darlena Morris of Rogersville, Valerie Benton of Cuba and Kristal Harris (John) of Strafford; and his siblings, Rhuel Benton (Nancy) of Edgar Springs, James Benton (Kathy) of Salem and Helen Haines (Delmar) of Rolla.
