She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Halbert and Alice Halbert; her husband Kenneth William Payne; her son William Daniel Payne; her brothers, Earl Halbert (Ada), Leroy Bernard "Doc" Halbert (Ina), Carl Thomas Halbert and Frankie Halbert; her half-sister Helen Hinch (Clyde); her parents-in-law, Ed and Ella Mae Payne; and her siblings-in-law, Gerald Payne (Rebel), Harry Payne and Edith Coppedge (Bill).
She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Hendrix (Warren) of Steelville, MO; her granddaughter Michelle "Shelly" Hogeboom (Allen) of Bourbon, MO; her great grandchildren, Will Olms of Steelville, MO and Ashley Turnbough of Steelville, MO; her great great grandchildren, Ella, Adisyn, Oaklee Olms, Rhett and Reid Conaway; and her close friend Jim Quinton of Cuba, MO. She is also survived by son; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials were suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
