It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Alan Cahill of Steelville, Missouri, born in Rantoul, Illinois, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Willis Cahill, Jr. and Barbara Laverne Cahill; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Nellie Smith; and his brother John Arthur Cahill.
He is survived by: his wife Tina Cahill of Steelville, MO; his children, Amanda Herron (Steve) of Chillicothe, IL, David Cahill, II, Olivia Laxton (Shawn) of Steelville, MO and Jeffery Adams of Sullivan, MO; his siblings, Eugene Cahill (Lois) of St. Peters, MO and Virginia "Ginger" Moore (Brad) of Patoka, IL; his sisters-in-law, Linda Williams (Beth) of Steelville, MO, Sheila Rawson (Mike) of Farmington, MO and Paula Knott (Tony) of O'Fallon, MO; and his grandson Jakob Cahill of Chillicothe, IL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
