She was predeceased by: her parents, William Haffer and Ida Matchell Haffer; her husband James Downing (Kenneth Jennings); her siblings, Wanetta Haffer, Hallie McConnell, Gladys Hammond, Archie Haffer, Claude Haffer and Raymond Haffer; and her brother-in-law John Doss.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Downing of Linn Creek, MO, Bonnie Downing Reuther (Larry) of Eolia, Linda Downing Steger (Ken) of Springfield and Donna Downing Young (Keith) of Steelville; her grandchildren, Dwayne, Tasha, Travis, Amy, Patrick, Ryan, Jennifer, Joshua and Jessica; her siblings, Ruth Thomas of St. Louis, Melba Doss of Rolla, Ruby Barman (Bill) of St. Louis, Bonnie Fern McClain (Bob) of Steelville and Floyd "Bud" Haffer of St. James; and her sister-in-law Mary Haffer of St. James. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
