She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Worley (Myrtle) and Myrtle Worley; her husband Ellis Evans; her daughter Barbara Wagner; her siblings, Cledes Worley (Freda), Clifton Worley, Homer Worley (Helen), Joe Worley (Linda), Paul Worley, Mary Belle Chandler (Halic) and Rosalie Hammonds (Norman); and her siblings-in-law, Jim Lowery, Leeman Evans (Bernice), Eldon Evans (Della Mae), Leon Sellers, Lila Mae Hunter (Tom), Lucille Hill and Ileen Pratt (Orville).
She is survived by: her sons, Bill Evans (Peggy) of Springfield, IL, Frank Evans (Connie) of St. Louis, MO and Steve Evans (Brenda) of Harrison, AR; her grandchildren, Jeff, Amy, Chad, Joshua, Grant, Gabriel, Zachary and Megan; her sister Ruby Lowery of St. Louis, MO; and her sister-in-law Erma Sellers of Arnold, MO. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home (110 Cedar St, Steelville, MO 65565). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Shoal Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Shoal Creek Cemetery c/o Britton-Bennett Funeral Home.
