He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Barber and Nomie Jean Beliles Ramey; his siblings, Barry Barber, Bolo Barber and Vicky Cane; and his grandchild Kaitlin Thorne.

He is survived by: his wife Freda Lee Barber of Steele, MO; his children, Ronald Wayne Barber, Jr. (Daphne) of Caruthersville, MO and Tammy Barber of Steele, MO; and his brother Timmy Barber of Blytheville, AR. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
