James Henry Miles Obituary
James Henry Miles, 79, of Steele, Missouri passed away on February 2, 2025 at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Arkansas. He was born on August 30, 1945 in Sledge, Mississippi to Raymond Miles and Mary Rachel (Fair) Miles. James was a member of the Hollard Pentecostal Church of God and was a door greeter for many years. He enjoyed singing gospel music, fellowship, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include; two daughters: Sonya Dildine (Carl) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Tammy Sellars (Kevin) of Blytheville, Arkansas; seven grandchildren: Dustin Faught, Dylan McLemore, Brooke Rowe (Hunter), Chance Baxter, Miley Sellars, Gage Galbraith (Haley), Adyson Galbraith; two great granddaughters: Landry Rowe and Elena Galbraith; six sisters: Rachel Larue of Blytheville, Arkansas, Florence Hale of Steele, Missouri, Louise Raymond (David) of Manila, Arkansas, Hope Brumley of Manila, Arkansas, Teresa Lawson (Ronny) of Jackson, Tennessee, Betty Richardson (Mike) of Gosnell, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends.
He is preceded in death by; his parents: Raymond Miles and Mary Rachel (Fair) Miles; one son: Gregory Miles; and one brother: Raymond Miles, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Holland Pentecostal Church of God in Holland, Missouri with Pastor Mike Richardson officiating. The family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will be published when known under the direction of Faith Funeral Service.
