Vicki Diann Sturgeon Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vicki Diann Sturgeon of Stark City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 3, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Vicki Diann find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Patterson and Joanne Patterson (Storbeck); and her husband Allan Dale Sturgeon. She is survived by: her children, Dusty Sturgeon (Val) of Stark City, Missouri, Amy James (Brad) of Neosho and Lindsay Bigham (Chad) of Joplin, Missouri; and her sister Jolene Welch (Ed) of Willard, Missouri. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the McQueen Funeral Home (524 E Hurlbut St, Wheaton, MO 64874). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Vicki.
