It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred G. Riesen of Stanton, Missouri, born in Evanston, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Fred George Riesen Sr.; his wife Irena Krasauskas; and his aunt Margaret "Marge" Ziehlke. He is survived by: his mother Charlotte Dorothy Riesen (Ziehlke) of Stanton, MO; his daughter Isis Cecelia Riesen of Stanton, MO; his sister Jeannie Karnia (James) of New Lenox, IL; his niece Jaclyn Plachy (Michael) of Elwood, IL; his great-nephews, Michael Eugene III and Liam Plachy; his nephew Jeffrey Karnia (Dana) of Braceville, IL; his great-niece Seaena Karnia; his nephew Jarett Karnia (Tanya) of Bloomington, IL; his great-niece Evalyn Karnia; his great-nephew Owen Karnia; his brother Allen Hunter (Sandra) of Florida; and his cousins, JoAnne Kenney (Edward) of Arlington Heights, IL and Lyn Ziehlke-Reece (James) of Schaumburg, IL. He is also survived by cousins, other relatives and friends.
