He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Chaney and Juanita Chaney (Malson); his wife Anna Marie; and his siblings, Rex, Johnny and Martha Lou Kirk.

He is survived by: his daughter Connie Hale; and his grandsons, Gage Savage of Albany, MO, Brandon Savage of Albany, MO and Timothy Chaney of Albany, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
